City bees

Today's photos are all about Colony 1, source of worry, despair, and (now) joy. The photo at left tries to show that the traffic at both colonies is now roughly the same. The movie at right shows the actual buzzing activity: the cluck cluck noise is the camera struggling to save frames at high resolution in real time, but if you listen carefully you can hear the light buzzzzz. I tried to take a picture of the similar traffic after working with the bees yesterday, but a guard bee Simply-Wasn't-Having-Any-Thank-You.
